Drop-In Service
Opening times: Monday, Tuesday or Thursday, We open at 9am - the drop in service starts at 10am and finishes at 1 pm on Mondays, 3 pm on Tuesdays and 6 pm Thursdays. However Reception is available until 3pm each day to assess for emergencies, book an appointment, provide leaflets etc. We advise clients to try and attend Bureau as early as possible on the day if they can, to maxmise the chance of receiving a full advice session.
- When you arrive please take a numbered card from the Reception counter. Reception will call people in number order
- You will be given a time to see an adviser for an advice session for the same day - you can either wait in the Bureau or leave and return at the given time
What happens when we have no more advice sessions left?
On each day we will only have a certain number of volunteer advisers on duty and we may not be able to give an advice session to everybody who is waiting.
Reception will tell you if this is the case. You will then have the following choices:

If your issue is not urgent
- Return on another drop-in day
- Go to another CAB in the area, see details in our Contact Us section.. Reception also has a leaflet with these details.

- Wait and speak to Reception - Reception cannot provide advice but can provide you with leaflets, details of other agencies or make you an appointment. Appointments book up quickly and you will normally have to wait a couple of weeks.
